Making a Difference When It Really Counts!

Thinking About A Change...In Realtors?

     Over fifty percent of the calls we receive are from folks who are already working with an agent. Here are a few examples:
 
     “Do you know if there are any homes available for sale in . . . (fill in your favorite neighborhood).”
 
     “Can you tell me the price of the listing at such and such address?”
 
     “My agent doesn’t work Sundays. Can you help me?”
 
     “I put in a call to my agent yesterday, but haven’t heard from them. Could you find out if this listing is still available?”
 
     In the last two examples, it’s obvious there’s another agent involved. But even when we don’t know for sure, we always ask (as a professional courtesy, we always ask if the caller is working with another agent.) And when we do find out the caller is working with another agent, we wonder two things:
 
     1. If they already have an agent, why are they calling us?
     2. Does their call mean their current agent isn’t meeting their needs?
 
 
 
 
Here are a couple of facts about all Realtors: 
 
     All Realtors have access to the same information posted on the MLS system. All Realtors can show and sell any home listed on MLS.
 
And that’s where the similarities end. 
 
     When it comes to real estate agents, there are some very obvious differences in availability, experience and knowledge.  When we represent you as a client, we make a full time commitment, available to you 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. We also have a unique system of searching the MLS system a minimum of 6 times a day so you know about new properties for sale as soon as they are put on the market.
 
     There are lots of reasons to choose one agent over another, but the decision is more important than most people realize, and we believe the process should be given a lot of thought.  Because when you’re ready to buy or sell, a professional Realtor becomes as important as any other professional you would hire to accomplish the job you want done. 
 
     Make sense? So think about this: Would you want a part-time doctor taking care of your health? Would you retain a lawyer who is right out of law school and has never handled his first case? Probably not. (At least we hope not!) We believe the same criteria should be used in choosing a professional real estate agent.
 
     We welcome your calls, and want you to know that we will not make any effort to “pirate” you away from another agent - unless you are ready to make the change. And if you decide a change is want you need, you simply need to tell us
